Mr. Dileep Divakaran
A Petroleum Engineer by degree, Dileep Divakaran is a Principal in Digital Oil Fields and has over 21 years of Oil & Gas upstream, downstream, project management & software development experience having worked across India, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, USA & UAE.
During the first 4.5 years of his career, Dileep worked as a field production engineer for the Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) of India participating in gas (condensate) field operations and commissioning & stabilization of ONGC’s first indigenous well head refinery.
17 years of Dileep’s technical upstream experience in Schlumberger, encompasses reservoir engineering
and production engineering domains namely reservoir simulation & modeling, production system modeling
& Analysis, production data platforms, Integrated Operations & Digital Oil Field Systems.
His most recent Digital Oil Field experience in Schlumberger, has been in a Technical Program Manager role of a complex digital oilfield project for Saudi Aramco and Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) wherein he has also functioned as a lead production solutions consultant and architect.
Post Dileep’s extensive field and Digital Oil Field experience, he served in a Global Product Champion responsible for developing the next generation of cloud based Digital Production Advisory Solutions for Schlumberger’s Digital & Integration Division.
Dileep is presently serving as the Schlumberger Digital Production Operations Solutions Business Manager for Middle East & North Africa based in Dubai.
